The grate can be cradled so the back is higher which forces heat into the room and exposes more of the fire. In this setting the back of the Self Feeding Fireplace Cradle Grate™ is raised and acts as a fire back. This exposes more of the fire. Giving you more of an open fire and directing more heat into the room.

When the Self Feeding Fireplace Cradle Grate™ is set to the level position gravity feeds the fire. Logs casually roll to the center of the grate. This makes for a very low maintenance fire. You spend more time enjoying the fire than tending to it.

If you are into building large fires the Self Feeding Fireplace Cradle Grate™ is for you. By rotating the front of the grate higher, you can build very large fires and know that the wood you add will stay within the fireplace. This is also a good setting to burn trash and helps to keep smoke from entering your home.
